Here are some questions:
* Can it set a background image
* Can it set a custom width/height to each of the image panels (example: 120 height, 80px width)
* Can I set a custom width to the strip (say, 850 px?)
* Does it automagically crop image data to fit the strip's panels (I'd like to to snap some data from the source image, not squeeze it into the panel with the wrong aspect ratio).

To kurtb:

1. can't set a bg image.

2. can only show one panel with unlimited images.

3. the panel width and height is settable in xml. also the image width and height.

4. not automatically, need you to set in xml.
