Description:

One unique Thai tradition of paying homage to the guardian spirit Hin
Chang is the honking of horns of lorries and other types of vehicles as they run along Petchkasem Highway between Prachuab Khirikhan and Chumphorn provinces. It is believed that by doing so, they will be protected by the spirit against harm or accident just as when the people of Chumphorn were during a hurricane disaster several years ago.
