Description:

The Golden Mount Temple fair is the only remaining temple fair held in
the city of Bangkok. Its origin could be traced back to the beginning of the Rattanakosin period. This event is held yearly at about the same time as the Loy Krathong Festival. A â€œmustâ€ at the fair is the showing of unusual and peculiar things. Thus, the expression whenever one sees something odd, â€œThis should be on show at the Golden Mount fairâ€.
Golden Mount or Wat Saket is known to be the temple that keeps the only relics of the Lord Buddha with literary evidence to attest to it..
